Before each event’s entry deadline, each player selects their two drivers (must choose two distinct drivers), a chassis and an engine for the event.
Each of those elements has a price for the event. Players pay for them out of their fantasy budget for the season, which is $150m if the player enters from the first event of the year. If a player starts with an event later in the season, their budget is $150m – $6.25m per event missed (eg if their first event is round 2 then their season budget is $143.75m). Prices also can change from one event to the next.
Players are rewarded with the points each of those elements scores in the actual F1 event. The player with the most points for the weekend wins. Often it comes down to tiebreakers to decide a winner, such is the competitiveness.
At the end of the season, the player with the most points for the year without going over budget wins the Farina Cup Fantasy Racing Championship.
